Privacy policy

Last updated October 18, 2026

PokerAIO is a poker game you play with friends and bots using play chips. This page explains what we store when you use the website or the iOS app, why, and how to get rid of it. We keep it short because there isn't much.

What we collect

  • Account. When you sign in with Google or Apple we receive the email address and display name (and, for Google, the profile picture) those services share with us. Apple lets you hide your real email; the relay address works fine. Guest accounts are anonymous and have no email.
  • Profile and settings. Your username, table name, chosen avatar (including pictures you upload), felt and card-back preferences, sound and pre-action toggles.
  • Friends. Friend requests you send or accept, so we can show who is online and let you invite them to a table.
  • Game data. The tables you create or sit at and the hands played there (cards, bets, results, and for bot seats the bot's reasoning), so tables survive a server restart and you can replay hands later. Hand records are shared with everyone who sat at that table.
  • Technical. Our hosting providers log standard request data (IP address, browser or device type, timestamps) to run the service and prevent abuse. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers.

What we use it for

To run the game: keep you signed in, seat you at tables, show your name and avatar to other players, deliver friend invites, and let you review hand history. We do not sell personal data, show ads, or use your data to train models.

Who else sees it

  • Supabase hosts the sign-in system, database and avatar storage.
  • Vercel hosts the website and Fly.io runs the game server.
  • Google and Apple handle sign-in when you choose them; their own privacy policies apply to that step.
  • Other players at your table see your table name, avatar, stack and the cards you show.

Cookies

We use one session cookie to keep you signed in on the website. The iOS app keeps the same session inside the app. No advertising or cross-site cookies.

Retention and deletion

Your data stays until you delete your account. You can do that yourself at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account, in the app or on the web. That removes your account, profile, settings, friends and uploaded avatar immediately. Hands you played at shared tables remain in those tables' history under the table name you used, because they also belong to the other players. Empty tables are removed automatically after a few hours.

Children

PokerAIO simulates gambling with play chips only and is intended for people 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; if you believe a child has an account, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and note it in the app.
